Elder
I currently work at local Christian non-profit as a Controller. I was ordained as an elder at TMBC in 2016 and serve alongside the other elders in shepherding the congregation. I help serve in different areas at TMBC (preaching, teaching, discipleship, and administration).

I grew up in a semi-religious household, attending the Catholic Church a few times a year. At a very young age, I experienced the brokenness of this world when my parents divorced. By the time I attended college, I was a very angry and bitter person. My sin became great and my heart was so calloused that I began to question if God was real. During my third year of college the Lord radically changed my heart, opening my eyes to realize that I was a sinner who needed forgiveness. I saw the ugliness of my sin and the amazing grace of the Savior through the gospel. I began attending and serving in a local Church in the San Fernando Valley.
Through the encouragement of my college pastor at the time, I decided to attend The Master’s Seminary so that I could be equipped to serve the Lord however He would choose.
In 2007, the Lord blessed me with my wife Lilit. We have two children, Noelle, and Calvin.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, hiking, and tinkering with new technology.
This is a hard question since so many godly men and books that have influenced my life. Some of my favorite authors include J.C. Ryle, Jerry Bridges, Paul David Tripp, and John MacArthur.
I love the Word of God and one passage that continually reminds me of the gospel is:
Romans 5:6-8 “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
