Pastor of Worship and Discipleship / Elder
I have been in pastoral ministry since 2007 and was ordained in 2012.
I currently serve as the Pastor of Worship & Discipleship at The Mount Bible Church. In this role, I oversee and coordinate the worship and discipleship life of our church, helping prepare the musical elements of our worship services and seeking to lead our congregation in God-centered, biblically faithful worship.
I also work to organize and support opportunities for our members to grow as disciples of Christ—deepening their love for God and neighbor, strengthening their understanding of Scripture and theology, and encouraging meaningful fellowship and evangelism.

I grew up attending church every week with my family, and I attended Christian schools until I graduated from junior high. Yet, I did not come to know Christ truly and personally until I was in high school. That’s when God helped me realize that I am a sinner and that I need Jesus. My life changed completely when I trusted in Him! He gave me hope and purpose for my life.
I began my studies at UC San Diego as a biology major, but the Lord did not allow me to be at peace until I committed my life to full-time ministry. In order to be sure about this calling, I began volunteering at church with the youth ministry. As I led worship, taught the Scriptures, and ministered to young people, the Lord confirmed my calling through the encouragement of fellow believers and mentors.
In 2011, I was very blessed to marry Nora (Bardakjian), and we have enjoyed serving the Lord together ever since. The Lord has also graciously blessed us with two children, Paul and Elizabeth.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to classical music, and singing. I also enjoy reading theology, fiction, and history, and traveling.
I enjoy reading books by D. A. Carson. I also really enjoy reading the biographies and works of Godly men who have come before us like Jonathan Edwards, John Owen, and John Newton (apparently, I like authors with the name “John”!)
I see my life and ministry summed up in the following verse written by the Apostle Paul:
“I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory” (2 Timothy 2:10).
